Lemon Teriyaki Chicken

An easy to prepare recipe that features a sweet and tangy Lemon Teriyaki sauce that can be served over rice or orzo.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 2 tsp Poultry Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Canola Oil
  • 1 cup Teriyaki Sauce
  • 6 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Garlic Clove (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar

Equipment

  • 1 Electric Skillet or Large Frying Pan
  • 1 Medium Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Small Mixing Bowl

Method
 

  1. Slice the Chicken Breast in half (lengthwise) to give you a thinner cut of chicken.
  2. Mix Flour and Season Salt in a medium bowl, Rinse Chicken and dredge in Flour and set aside.
  3. Heat oil over medium heat. Cooking Chicken Breast for 5 minutes per side and set aside.
  4. Reduce head on skillet. Add an extra splash of Lemon Juice and Teriyaki to the hot pan and scrape the bits of flour and chicken left over in the pan.
  5. Pour Lemon Teriyaki sauce into the hot pan, and add chicken breast. Simmer covered for 10 minutes, turning the chicken breast once.
  6. Serve over rice or orzo. Be sure to spoon some extra sauce over the chicken and rice/orzo.
