A cheesy hash brown casserole made with frozen potatoes, onion, sour cream, cheese, and a crunchy top layer.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Frozen Shredded Hash Browns (30 oz bag)
  • 1 cup Diced Onion
  • 1/2 stick Melted Butter
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 pint Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper

Equipment

  • 1 Baking Dish (9 x 13)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix all ingredients, except bread crumbs, in a large bowl
  3. Transfer mixture to greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and top with bread crumbs
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour

Notes

  1. You can substitute crushed Corn Flakes, Potato Chips, or crackers for the topping
